QuadTac Interior sUAS Operations:
This course is a 3 Day intermediate-advanced training program designed for SWAT and LE small-team operators. The course covers important governmental regulations, agency policies, drone platforms and accompanying systems, but primarily focuses on flight fundamentals, team communication, and sUAS integration/tactics. This is a hands-on training which includes flights and scenarios in residential/commercial environments and open-air facilities. Operators will explore the integration of interior UAS systems during barricaded suspect incidents, high-risk warrant service, and hostage rescue operations, with an emphasis on situational awareness, risk management, interagency coordination, and realistic scenario-based training.
Course Details
Pre-Requisites:

Active LE/MIL
-
Experience/current employment on small team (SWAT, TF, POP, etc)

Intermediate sUAS Experience (must be operationally comfortable with issued systems)

Assigned agency sUAS platform

This is NOT a beginner course
*Part 107 preferred
Required Equipment:

Agency sUAS (all req charging/supplemental systems)

Plate carrier/vest & belt setup
-
Helmet (dovetail compatible NVG Mount)

Seasonally appropriate gear (warm clothes/hand warmers etc, shoot house facilities not heated)

Note taking material or laptop

Low light gear (headlamp, handheld light, etc.)

Tools/spare parts required for standard repairs on your systems.
Cost:
Tuition per seat: $1200
(Covers 3 day class with one low light/night session)
